For the holidays, Maria recommends her favorite “anyday” cocktail… meaning it’s not just great for the holidays but also perfect for happy hours on the patio, special events, etc. It’s light, refreshing and easy to drink. MARIA’S FAVE HOLIDAY (ANYDAY) COCKTAIL RECIPE:

In a large wine glass with ice add:

3 parts prosecco or champagne- shoot for one that isn’t too sweet

1 part Elderflower liqueur like St. Germain

1 part soda water

Garnish with smashed basil leaves, a cucumber slice and a lime
