Fast growing restaurant concept located in San Diego is looking for a highly motivated, independent and enthusiastic Catering Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the Dallas-Ft. Worth and Orange County areas. The Sales & Events Representative will be responsible for proactively soliciting appropriate business opportunities through a combination of tele-prospecting, networking, outside sales calls, and direct sales to achieve revenue goals. They will be responsible for generating new business for both corporate and residential accounts while maintaining contact with existing clients.
The Sales & Representative will be responsible for the catering sales department in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area and must possess strong organizational traits as well as a commitment to quality, accuracy, timeliness and results.
Identify, solicit, negotiate and book new and repeat business through various sales channels including but not limited to outside sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking
Execute a territorial marketing strategy to capture the maximum amount of revenue and meet/exceed sales goals.
Sustain up-to-date knowledge of corporate procedures and products.
Improve sales strategies and the achievement of goals.
Participate in various organizations and attend networking events to maintain high visibility and promote catering sales.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Promptly follow up on all customer calls and inquires in an efficient and expedient manner.
Build relationships within the restaurant to grow catering sales by serving as a brand ambassador in the restaurant during peak hours as time permits.
Prepare status and period end reports to keep management abreast of activities. Reports include action-plans, customer lead generation, and sales tracking via Monkey Media CRM.

Restaurant experience preferred.
Must have a minimum 2-3 years of related work experience to be considered.
Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of state registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Must be able to site for extended periods at a time in a car, at a desk, or in meetings with prolonged and repetitive use of a computer.
Must be able to travel locally and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work.
Must be able to verbally communicate for extended periods of time.
Works primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lighted environment.
Exposed to weather conditions while driving to meetings.
Must be able to work in an environment with moderate noise level and ability to effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
